Charlotte Homes in Wedgewood Commons Near Ballantyne

Wedgewood is a small David Weekley Community located in South david weekley homesCharlotte.

It was developed in the early to mid 2000’s, the designs are primarily two story single family homes, with a few ranch homes sprinkled into the mix.

The homes typically have a heated living space of 2000-3000 square feet, with 3-4 bedrooms and a two car attached garage. Home prices range from about $225,000 to $325,000.

Nice mature lots averaging a fifth to a third of an acre, with many of the homes backing up to a beautiful large wooded common area.

Although there is no community amenity center with swimming pool, tennis courts and such, have no fear, the neighborhood is less than ten minutes (door to door) from the Morrison YMCA. You’ll find that Charlotte YMCA’s are popular top notch facilities!

Shopping abounds in nearby Blakeney or The Ballantyne Village with Carolina Place Mall just 20 minutes away. Uptown Charlotte can be reached in under 45 minutes-most of the time-during rush hour and less than thirty minutes other times.

Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools serving Wedgewood Commons home owners are: Hawkridge Elementary, Community House Middle School and Ardrey Kell High School. (There are also plenty of private schools nearby. Schools are subject to change.)
